Casual Impressionism: I found there is nothing more challenging or interesting than the faces of those around me. My drawings are made on the spot, quickly and spontaneously - my subjects are unposed and initially unaware that I am committing my impression of them to newsprint. Chris Winter
First Sketch at Nuit Blanche. Chris Winter let me complete a sketch all be it on a poorly picked page in the right context.
Chris Winter is a environmentalist and just to pick one from his many credits, Chris helped start the Jane Jacobs walk. A highly popular annual event. His newest adventure is Canada Conserves.
Thanks Chris

I have grown to love my sketch, rising to the challenge of finding "me" against the striking background of a Nuit Blanche scene. It fits with what I have come to see as an emerging priority for the environmental movement -- the need to look at issues differently, to see gem of an idea against the complexity and noise in the background.
